Not for every course. The Skin Boss Bundle, for one, is a comprehensive beginner programme covering dermaplaning, skin peels, microneedling and facial massage, and it is written for people starting from nothing. What we will not do is give you one answer for the whole catalogue. Entry requirements are not the same on every course, the regulated route runs from Level 3 to Level 7, and the academy is nurse-led, so a skin course and an injectables course are two different conversations. Tell an advisor what you have done before, including nothing at all, and she will map the starting point with you.

Our training is nurse-led, CPD accredited and run from a Qualifi approved centre, which is what insurers look for, and our courses are advertised as fully accredited and insurable. The insurance itself is arranged with your own provider, and what they will cover can depend on your background as much as on the training, so get an advisor to confirm exactly what a given course qualifies you to offer before you pay for it. That is a five minute call and it is the one worth making first.

Our regulated qualifications are UK awards issued through Qualifi, and we are a Qualifi approved centre. Whether you can practise and insure on them in the Republic of Ireland is decided by your insurer and by Irish requirements rather than by us. Ring before you book and an advisor will tell you precisely which award you would be gaining, so you can put that exact wording to your intended insurer first rather than after you have paid.

Courses run online, hybrid and in person, so the shape of the day depends on which one you are looking at. The Fast Track programme, for instance, is a flexible learning programme combining online theory, in-house training and real model practice with business guidance and support. We do not publish one timetable or one inclusions list across the whole catalogue, because the true version of that answer is per course and per date, and a general one would be wrong for somebody. Ask for the breakdown of the exact course and date you want and it comes to you before you pay anything. Our online Academy Pack lists its inclusions as:

It depends on the course, and we do not publish it course by course. The Fast Track programme includes real model practice, but whether a model is arranged for your date or whether you are bringing your own is a question to settle when you enquire. Ask what makes someone suitable at the same time, because finding a model is the thing students leave until the night before and then panic about.

Your training does not switch off when you drive home. We publish lifetime access, so you can revisit your modules any time, and student support and guidance is listed with the online Academy Pack. There is also a membership carrying priority bookings, bonus learning resources and discounted advanced courses. Which of those comes with the course you are considering is worth checking before you book, because it is part of what you are paying for.

Here, in the house. You book a room at the same time as your course and stay on site, so you can arrive the night before rather than driving over on the morning.

Yes. There is an on-site creche, and there is family and whole-house accommodation if a partner or a grandparent travels with you, at £10 a night for an extra guest. Tell your advisor the ages and the dates when you book, so the creche can be arranged around your training day.

Yes. The Cherry Tree Café serves breakfast and lunch and takes pre-orders Monday to Friday, so you can order before you travel and your food is ready on your break. If you would rather self-cater, the accommodation has a fridge, small freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave and air fryer, with a cooker in the family accommodation. We are on a farm in the Cheshire countryside, so it is worth sorting food out before you arrive rather than after.

You can pay monthly, and on Pay It Monthly there is no interest: 0% APR spread over 2 to 12 months, on anything up to £3,000. Nothing here has to be paid in one go. An advisor will walk you through which route fits your course and your budget before you commit to anything, and if none of them fit, a plan can be built with you directly. All finance is subject to status.

What is possible depends on the course and on how close the date is, so if your circumstances have changed, ring before you assume you have lost anything. People move dates. The written position is in our terms and conditions, and they are worth reading before you book rather than after: 24 articles, a section covering the onsite accommodation, and a separate Qualifi enrolment, cancellation and withdrawal policy for the regulated qualifications.

Your booking confirmation carries the start time for your specific course, because start times are not the same on every course and we would rather you had yours than a general one. The academy itself opens at 9am, and if you are staying in the house your room is ready from 3pm with check-out at 9am. Bring photo ID and something to write with, and wear closed-toe shoes, because open-toe shoes are not allowed in the training rooms.
